Canute Distribution is an appropriately named vehicle for a tidal area. It's parked on an area of land currently inaccessible to the public, next to the skeleton of a new multistorey building. The lift shaft and / or stairwell indicates that it will be about 15 storeys high. The views should be stunning in all directions. |

A view from the most westerly corner of Victoria Dock towards its entrance. This is blocked to all but ducks and seagulls by the Ocean Drive bridge. This may be intentional as Victoria Dock is at the rear of the Scottish Executive building. Perhaps a submarine could still get in though... | |

I think the nearby building is Platinum Point. The brown edifice at the back is the part of Ocean Terminal housing Debenham's store. The wooden pier in the foreground looks as if it's a while since anything ocean-going terminated there. | |

Between Western Harbour and Albert Dock is this colourful collection of giant reels used for undersea cables. In the distance, on the northern side of the Firth of Forth, stands the Craigkelly TV transmitter on high ground overlooking the town of Burntisland. | |
