It's fairly obvious that 'Wash House'
was deemed politically incorrect and subsequently changed to 'Laundry'.
It hardly mattered anyway; this was actually a second-hand furniture
and junk emporium for a while.
Nowadays there's rented houses built here, if I'm not mistaken. This is in Causewayside
near the lane into Blackwood Crescent. |
