The Art of Star Wars exhibition has been running here for some time. This is a view of the building as seen from the roof of Princes Mall, across the top of Waverley Station. The two panels picturing the robot are each three storeys high. |

The second picture is zoomed back to reveal the Scotsman building which has been converted to a hotel following The Scotsman newspaper's relocation to Holyrood Road. The hotel retains the name, unlike the nearby Balmoral Hotel which was formerly the North British Hotel. |

Also taken from the roof of Princes Mall (previously Waveley Market) is this view of The Mound and Edinburgh Castle, behind the trees of Princes Street Gardens. In the foreground is Waverley Bridge where two vintage double decker buses are waiting for visitors to take a city tour. |

Princes Street is 1.28 Kilometres or about 0.8 miles in length from Leith Street to the West End. In this shot the camera has been panned slightly to the right revealing the hotch-potch of rooves on the street's north side. Corstorphine Hill is in the background. |
