The kind of road that car-makers' ad-agencies lust after. Vanishing Point, indeed. I've forgotten where this road is - it's vanished from my memory.

Update 2008: Its the B6397 Earlston to Smailholm road at the Mellerstain house junction... the road actually turns to the right mid picture with the remaining seen part being the access road to Mellerstain House itself.
