This rocky outcrop is at the west end of Gullane Bay and features rocks resembling a sort of primordial cake-mix which hasn't been thoroughly blended. (Spectacle case added for scale.)

This white fungus adorns the end of a rotting log about 20cm in diameter. The wood looks like jelly and the fungus looks like shaving foam. Photographed in Roslin Glen.
