	1979 Colour 1024 x 768 118K	Developing colour film and prints was a tedious and expensive chore. I designed and built a DIY water bath to keep the chemicals at just the right temperature. All the electronics were in the box with the Dymotape and the psychedelic paint-job.
	K.H. 03 436 x 600 54K	Another one of Katie Henniker's paintings, scanned before being framed. I think that it shows Edinburgh Castle from the Botanic Gardens, possibly as early as the 1920s. Larger version on the Katie's Album page.

	Meadows Melville Drive 1280 x 800 312K	It looks as if the driver has parked on the edge of the public park to relieve himself. He may be on official business but the private car was unmarked.

	Calton Road 36 1280 x 970 252K	Having seen a mother with a push chair struggle past in danger from traffic, I emailed them but got no reply.

	Pedestrian Crossing 1280 x 850 107K	An ideal place to park while a passenger nips into Tesco or to the cash machine - on top of a pedestrian crossing and double yellow line at Holy Corner. Having hazard lights flashing doesn't make it totally cool.
	Slab Cracker 1280 x 992 84K	Outside Churchhill Theatre, the footpath has been recently repaired with brand new concrete slabs. These are soon cracked again by vans, lorries and cars parking on the pavement.
	Daft Dialogue 1024 x 768 208K	These are all genuine error messages grabbed to the clip-board using Alt+PrintScreen by yours truly, from various PCs including my own. I have arranged them tastefully on the electronic equivalent of an angora sweater.
	Cheech & Chong 8-track 752 x 864 76K	This piece of Americana was sent to me by a long-time friend, Ian Zalewski of Death Valley Pizza (A Solar Cooking Resource). It doesn't matter that I can't play it because I remember it well on vinyl. Their albums were better than their films.

	Lovehearts 2004 640 x 480 58K	Updated confectionery for the 21st century. Lovehearts bearing the messages: 'just say no', 'web site' and 'text me'.
	Mirror Balls 1152 x 864 209K	A variation on the theme on the page Self Portraits page 3, specifically this image. I'm barely visible behind my lens in this shot, taken in natural light. This is reality mimicking virtual reality.
	chip 1097 x 1024 315K	A macro shot of a chip removed from a plastic card. Embedded in the resin you can see 5 gold wires from the chip to the gold plated contacts that connect to the machines which suck money out of your account.
	BIG Spam 826 x 4947 1.46M	This was the contents of my Trash folder over a day or two in 2005. Those of you not accursed by this affliction might find it an interesting browse. To make this large image I maximised my Trash folder vertically on-screen, pressed Alt+PrintScreen, pasted the clipboard into Photoshop, paged down and repeated the process five or six times. This is the result of the composite image. I'm going to mess around with this image and see if I can turn trash into 'art'... If you're using Internet Explorer at its default settings then it'll shrink the image making the text illegible. Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, scroll down to Multimedia and untick Enable Automatic Image Resizing.
