No visit to Leith would be complete without a good look at this old swing bridge, only used by pedestrians now that nearby Ocean Drive takes the traffic. | |

The wooden platform in the previous picture provided the vantage point for this view up river towards the Shore on the left and Commercial Street Bridge straight ahead. A double decker LRT bus is crossing into Bernard Street beyond the blue boat. | |

That's the George Brown & Sons building - and the Mary of Guise boat tied up next to it. The cool colours of the building are complemented by the warm colours of the boat. At the bottom of the picture a pair of ducks are creating ripples in the reflections. |
