From Bonaly in the Pentland Hills, the view north is dominated by the towers, especially through a zoom lens on a clear day like this. The tower on the other side of the Firth of Forth is the Craigkelly TV transmitter. | |

A summer view north from Bonaly. The distinctive shape of the gasworks catches the eye even at this distance. It's obvious that this is a local landmark for travellers. It may not remain for much longer. |
