A one second exposure of the traffic rounding the corner in front of the Bank of Scotland Head Office at the top of The Mound. No tripod was used but the camera was placed on top of railings to keep it steady. The highlights from a hubcap have traced diagonal patterns on the left of the image.

Night View 2

In this shot a vehicle has moved from right to left. As well as tracing patterns, its flashing lights have illuminated a passing pedestrian on the top left of the picture. The strobe effect has made several ghost images of this person walking along the pavement.

The final photograph in this sequence of three shows two vehicles, a tipper lorry and an asphalt spreader. Two workmen remained stationary during the exposure and can be seen through the ghostly image of the lorry.
